Heritage Awards Inspiring Practices So it is, what little we leave behind is our legacy—which will in time become another generation’s heritage. What we as individuals or as a community do with what we have, with what we have learned, the choices we make, and how we choose to live our lives is our legacy. This, perhaps, can be summed up in the letters that spell the word LEGACY.
Ohio’s Hill Country is honoring individuals and organizations whose legacy is leaving us with amazing examples and wonderful gifts that will become the heritage of future generations. With Ohio’s Hill Country Heritage Area Awards, we recognize and give thanks to them for their vision, dedication, and acts of love to their communities. These are ordinary people who have chosen to do some amazing things that will enrich people’s lives, hopefully forever. They have each become part of the rich heritage of our beautify hill country region of the state of Ohio. This is our way to thank and honor them and to recognize and bring attention to the value of their work so that it may inspire others NOMINATIONS ACCEPTED FOR HERITAGE AWARDS Ohio's Hill Country Heritage Area (OHCHA) regularly recognizes and honors individuals and entities in the Ohio Hill County Region with "Heritage Awards" for their contributions in valuing, enhancing, and preserving the cultural and natural heritage that make up the unique sense-of-place of this region.
